why did i start this blog?

first and foremost, i wanted a place to express myself and speak about things that mattered to me. i wanted my own little piece of the web, to just have fun and enjoy the process. this has also been a great opportunity to get into coding, which was something i'd tried before but never really picked up! ~started sep. 21, 2021~

some things i enjoy, a too long list:

• anime and manga (jjba, sailor moon, anime like the promised neverland and your lie in april)
• fashion (including sewing) and makeup
• anything cutesy, like cottagecore, sanrio, pastel things, and plushies
• science, mainly astronomy and botany
• reading (mainly mysteries, poetry, and folklore-based books)
• drawing (...mostly)
• embroidery
• technical theatre (costuming)
• vocaloid, including project sekai!
• rui kamishiro................
• music: indie, anything dreamy soft idk what to call it (dreampop/shoegaze?), Christian, lo-fi, some k-pop, Mitski and that general genre
• cooking n baking
• staying up late
• fun earrings
• clouds and flowers
• mocha coffee enjoyer
• but also runs on az green tea and half-tea half-lemonade
• favorite animal(s): bunnies and cats
• favorite book: six crimson cranes by elizabeth lim
• favorite food: anything chocolate but especially smores
• favorite movie: weathering with you
• favorite color(s): all pastels! but if i had to pick, pink!
• life goals: ???
